Species: The Beauty is the Beast

For three million years, the human race has been at the top of the evolutionary ladder. Nothing lasts forever. SETI has received a transmission containing the genetic map to  an alien species, including instructions on how to combine it with human DNA. The product of this genetic manipulation is Sil; a strikingly sensual woman (Natasha Henstridge) that can instantly transform into a monstrous blood-drenching mating machine. Sil must be located and destroyed before she can procreate. Thrilling effects, and the bare debut of a sexy Henstridge make this sci-fi horror hybrid a must see.

H.R. Giger designed the biomechanical appearance of Sil for Species. When MGM decided to cut the spectacular "train birth" sequence in the interest of budget-trimming, Giger personally financed this $100,000 showcase of his work.
