Alien 3
The Alien makes it to a
prison colony aboard Ripley's ship. The Mayhem that ensues involving the
slaughter of inmates deftly personifies the Alien character. This time,
the alien uses a canine host for gestation as opposed to a human. The
resulting four-legged monstrosity leaves a trail of shredded flesh in it's
wake.
Again, Giger gets screwed.
Invited back to redesign the Alien, make an aquatic facehugger, and design
the voracious quadruped, Giger works exhaustingly. Later, he is told that
the effects studio will use their own designs. And to add insult to injury,
Giger's name is improperly listed in the production credits only as the
creator of the original Alien design. Nonetheless a decent movie, but...
credit where credit is due!
