Aliens: Giger's Design Gains a Life of its Own

Aliens is the second movie in what is now a dynasty of sci-fi horror. H.R. Giger, though responsible for the Alien design, was not asked to return for the second installment. It is a travesty that Giger was not given his due credit on this second excursion into the nightmare shadows of space. 

His fantastic vision remains as James Cameron takes the Aliens to the next level. A brutal queen and virulent hive now disseminate havoc on an infested colony. With the soldiers chillingly picked off one by one, and the sole survivor being the little girl "Newt", this film is a capable answer to its Academy Award winning progenitor.
